![]() ![]() She likes her own space but she will share it with other hatchlings that her owner is currently hand rearing. Brulee doesn’t speak any words yet, but she is still very vocal. As of now, she is very sweet and extremely vocal when being talked to. She is actually Julep’s biological sister and the only related birds in the flock. A blue pallid female who was a surprise when she was still very new to the family. Aurora is very intelligent and a great problem solver. She is the loudest bird in the flock and she can be heard in almost every video in the background, being louder than everyone else. Aurora gets very mad when she can’t be near Rukus. ![]() She felt normal again and is already happy to be in her new home. Her parents had to decide to transfer her into a new home, where she bonded with Rukus. So Aurora went through a long time of grieving for Alistair. Aurora’s previous parents had to search long and hard for weeks, but he was never found. She was originally from Buffalo, New York where she was bonded with her mate, Alistair, for almost 2 years when tragedy struck and he accidentally flew out of the house. She is a food hog and will often fly to others playstands to eat their leftovers. Ellie is a huge flirt with Hendrick and Mardi but is welcoming to all. Mardi needed female companionship rather than just a human. Another reason Ellie was take in was because she had to be a future mate for Mardi. Ellie made it super easy because in day 2 of quarantine, she was already hand friendly. Ellie wasn’t completely tame as she was a bit older upon her parents getting her. They enjoy learning about Indian Ringneck parakeets, but they only had males up until her and it was time to explore a different gender. A cinnamon violet/lavender female who has been brought into the family for a few reasons. Hatched on the same date as Bob in Texas. His catchphrases are “I’m chillin’ like a villain” and “Hi, I’m Bob.” He is the smallest in weight bird in the family. Wherever Cypress goes, Bob is quick or slow to follow behind. Bob loves to play with his toy box toys over in the playroom. He is super calm and can be caught flying more like a helicopter. A mauve/cobalt male who is not typically seen as a pet but a breeder because of his special genetics. Cypress never turns down any food offered and he often snatches it quickly out of his owner’s hands. He is the closest to Bob because they were both hatched close together. He gets scared easily but he has gotten better over time. Cypress is super sweet, loving and has the cutest voice. A violet male Australian harlequin pied who’s an amputee and has never been able to fly because a part of his wing was bitten off a few seconds after he hatched by his mother. He is, not for long, a huge flirt for Ellie before being one for Stassi. He tries to be like his siblings, but he’s often caught learning Julep’s phrases. A violet male cleartail who is his owner’s favourite mutation. He said his first phrase at 11 weeks old. He is the largest in weight and overall has the biggest vocabulary in which his owner can’t get all of the phrases Julep says on camera. A green male who is normally seen with Rukus, Dunkin, and sometimes Hendrick. He actually belongs to the youngest human in the family but he thinks his owner is his girlfriend, as he often tries to feed her, but she discourages this behavior. A violet male who is very attached to his owner and will be often seen on her shoulder at any given time. He will also love to spend his time in front of the camera as much as possible. He will often be seen playing peek-a-boo with it, give it kisses, scritch his head with it and talk to it. Rukus likes to think his foot is his best friend. He loves to play with Julep and give him kisses but not as much as his own foot. ![]() A blue male who is awfully clingy to his owner. He loves showing off his sexy chicken legs Named after a dunk-in egg, where toast is dunked in eggs. A yellow male lutino who doesn’t care for toys much, but loves Rukus and Julep. The flock has over 13 birds as of 2022, but the main 11 seem to also appear in the videos normally. It showcased a yellow male Lutino Indian Ringneck parakeet Dunkin being chatty, hence the YouTube channel name being Chatterbox Parrots. The first video on the channel was uploaded 2 years after not publicly having any videos posted on there. The content mainly consists of the main 11 ringnecks, Dunkin, Rukus, Julep, Mardi, Stassi, Aurora, Bob, Hendrick, Ellie, Brulee, and Cypress. ![]()
